One day, as she lay on the soft grass, Kokum’s eyes caught sight of something shimmering high above her. At first, she thought it was a bird, but as it grew closer, she realized it was a bubble. A beautiful, iridescent bubble, reflecting all the colors of the rainbow. Kokum couldn’t believe her eyes. She had never seen anything like it before. She watched in wonder as the bubble grew bigger and bigger, until it was as large as a hot air balloon. And then, suddenly, it burst, scattering a thousand tiny bubbles across the sky.

Kokum giggled with delight as the bubbles floated down around her, tickling her nose and landing in her hair. She reached out to catch one, but it popped as soon as her fingers touched it. From that moment on, Kokum was obsessed with bubbles. Every day, she would lie on the grass and imagine the sky filled with bubbles of all shapes and sizes. Some were round and perfect, while others were long and thin like a snake. Some were filled with glittering stars, while others were striped like candy canes.
